Response- I am not surprised that the internet has a positive affect on socialization. By using social media people can interact with people everywhere and at any time. People that are already social are probably more likely to use this form of socialization. Social media could be considerd as a tool to enhance socialization among people and would therefore encourage interaction between people.
Social media has many postitive aspects which include being able to stay connected to others, as well enableing communication with people that live far away.This form of communication in popular in our society because it is simple, fast and an effective way to be connected to the rest of the world.

I agree with you, I feel that using and having the internet to communicate with people is wonderful. I love that i can contact friends that i grew up with, but have moved away. I also can keep in touch with my family in Kentucky without spending all afternoon on the phone. I think it is a great tool to have and use as long as we don't get lost in it.
ReplyDeleteI agree that social media has enhanced communication in mnay ways. It is easy and quick. I think that communicating through the internet has helped many people stay in touch that would otherwise no longer be speaking.
ReplyDeleteI also agree that social media has helped people with communication, but we have to remember that there are other ways to communicate besides the internet.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the internet and social media has helped people learn to communicate and meet new people. However these things aren't always so good. We need to teach students there are other ways to communicate and safer ways for them to do so.
